Hey gang,
While I’m looking forward to the release of the new CD in Europe, “Inside My Head,” I’m aware that some of you loyal followers have already purchased some of the songs on it that were previously available only on Amazon or my website. Rest assured I am sensitive to your investment in my music and very grateful, and you will have the option to buy individual tracks from the new CD. This is a time of experimentation in the music industry, and I’m feeling things out as I go. My desire is to continually make new music, and the “when and where” of its release is often a quandary. I’m planning on releasing quite a bit of new material over the next 18 months. Sometimes it will be a digital track here, a free song there, or an EP of 3-4 songs everywhere, and sometimes a label in a certain country will want to put out a collection of songs, new and old, as is the case with the new CD. I hope you’ll hang in there with me, and whatever the vehicle, come along for the ride.

I’ve stuck with you for over 25 years, and I’m not about to stop now. I am a loyal follower too, but have been unable to purchase any of the new music yet. PLEASE let us know when the new CD or any new music comes out so I can add to my collection. Thanks for all the great music!

Hi Richard…we here in Australia love to hear your new music, old music, in fact any music you sing just as much as they do in the states, but often it hard to purchase as you can’t buy downloads from Amazon outside US. Great to know there’s a new Cd soon here in Europe… But will you tour again in Europe ? I mean in France… I love your music since Paid Vacation and Days in Avallon…Two of my all time favorites Cds… You’ve got lots of friends in France… Is there any plan for a french date ?

Is there any possiblity of you coming around to the Boston area anytime soon. A little story for ya, but I won’t bore other fans with it but I KNOW you would appreciate it. A little hint. I am back together with my 1st love after 23 years and “our song” then and still holds true now is of course. “HOLD ONTO THE NIGHT”. Do you still perform that? Just curious. She would absolutely flip if I surprised her with a special concert trip to see you!

We would also love to see you tour again in Oz – you have a huge fan base here and it has been far too long between visits! I am a 19 year-old singer/song-writer that is hoping to eventually make something of myself through music. I have 13 written songs with lyrics, good lyrics, already. I play 5 instruments well enough to impress a professional musician such as Richard Marx (not to say that he would be easily impressed). Though I am not asking for a producer’s contract, I would greatly appreciate any advice, tips, etc., that an accomplished musician such as you would be capable of providing. I do not, nor have I ever, held claim to enough money to launch myself off; but I have won several instrumental competitions and preformed for clouds before. If someone as important as Richard Marx could help me in ANY way, shape, or fashion, it would be an experience I will always hold in the highest of regards.

I have just preordered new CD. I was lucky to buy Emotional Remains some time ago from amazon.com (my review can be found there) but never had chance to listen to any song from Sundown.
