“Should’ve Known Better” was my second music video and was directed by Dominic Sena, who also did my first video for “Don’t Mean Nothing.”
The plot had me in love with a girl who was secretly married. The song was written about a girl I fell in love with at age 20, and ultimately broke my heart. Luckily, I not only got over her, I got a HIT SONG out of it! ~ Richard
