In 1997, I released a CD called “Flesh and Bone” which included this song I wrote. I had the profound honor of having one of my lifelong idols, Maurice White (from Earth, Wind and Fire) sing all the background vocals with me. He’s as talented as I dreamed he’d be, but also a total sweetheart of a guy. That day in the studio with Maurice was the epitome of a “bucket-list” experience.
